Windows Server 2012: The new ReFS file system
A new file system was added in Windows Server 2012. Windows Server now supports the following systems:
- With the current Windows Server operating system (based on Windows 8), the new file system ReFS is also introduced.
- It complements the NTFS file system.
- ReFS was specially designed for data storage on file servers.
