Which network does Tchibo use mobile?
Use the prepaid service from Tchibo, your smartphone transmits via the network of one of the four major mobile phone providers in Germany. We'll tell you which one it is.
Which network does Tchibo use mobile?
- Tchibo mobil has been using O2's mobile network since 2005. Even if you pay with Tchibo on the go, your cell phone uses the O2 network. In the CHIP network test 2017, O2 came in third place in direct comparison to Vodafone and Telekom.
- The former fourth mobile operator in the group, E-Plus, was taken over by O2 in 2014. Since 2015, O2 has been busy completing the merger of the two networks. The network expansion is therefore progressing less strongly compared to Vodafone and Telekom.
- All three mobile operators have problems with the mobile Internet in rural areas. O2 forms the tail light at a clear distance. In the city, O2 showed the highest error rate when loading YouTube videos.
- A major point of criticism is still the inadequate expansion of LTE. As a Tchibo Mobil customer, you will not have access to LTE anyway. Here you will find the exact test results of O2 again.
