Which network does Simply use? Network coverage and quality
With the mobile operator Simply you are spoiled for choice in terms of network and tariff. In this practical tip, we will tell you which network you use for your smartphone with Simply and what network quality awaits you.
Simply's mobile network
With Simply, depending on the tariff you choose, you are either on the E network or on the D network. The two networks have advantages and disadvantages:
- Unfortunately, a great tariff in a mobile network, the coverage of which is not quite as sparkling in your area, is of little use to you. Therefore, before you select your tariff, you should first check how the network coverage and quality of the mobile network is available in your area.
- If you are well served by the E network in your area, you have another advantage. For some months now, the mobile phone company Telefónica has also had e-Plus. To date, inadequacies in network quality, particularly in rural areas, are to be remedied by UMTS roaming. Your smartphone will then automatically switch to the stronger e-network.
- The changeover has already started, but it will still be some time before everyone can really enjoy UMTS roaming. Therefore, in a very rural area you should probably look around for a good tariff on the D-Netz.
