Advertise with Google AdSense - Here's how
With Google AdSense, you can advertise on your site and make money effectively. We'll explain how to do it.
Sign in to Google AdSense to advertise
Before you can use Google AdSense, you need to register for the service:
- Open the Google Adsense page and log in with your Google account.
- If you don't have an account yet, click on "Create Account" below and follow the instructions.
- Please note: To ensure that you are not later punished or banished by Google, you should read the AdSense program guidelines carefully.
Create Adsense ads
Once you have successfully signed up for AdSense and confirmed your email address, you can start creating a new ad:
- Click on the "New display block" button. You can find it in the "My ads" menu.
- Define a unique name for the ad so that you can uniquely identify it later (for example in billing).
- Then specify the desired format of your ad and determine whether text and / or image ads should appear in it.
- You can view your earnings at any time on the home page under "Final earnings".
Define channels and color them
So that the advertising also fits into your website, you can adjust the color of the advertising:
- To do this, switch to the "Color template" sub-item.
- Here you can customize all colors, fonts and corners of the ads.
- The next step is to set a channel. The channel on which you advertise is called the channel. Therefore, simply enter the URL on which you want to place your advertising.
Include AdSense codes
Now you can embed your AdSense code on your homepage:
- To do this, click on "Save and get code".
- You will now be shown the code that contains your previously set advertising.
- Just paste it on your page. The exact placement is up to you.
- Please note: Under no circumstances should you click on your own advertising - not even for test purposes! According to the AdSense guidelines, this is not permitted and can lead to permanent exclusion.
You can also create advertisements in Facebook - for example for your own page.
