- Then open WhatsApp on your smartphone and tap the three dots in the top right corner.
- With the "WhatsApp Web" option, you can now use your smartphone to scan the QR code that is displayed on the tablet.
- Now you can chat on WhatsApp with your Android tablet. Note that the smartphone and tablet must be on the same network in order to use the service.
Use WhatsApp on the Android tablet
If your Android tablet has a SIM card slot, you can proceed as follows:
- Insert your SIM card in the appropriate slot.
- Go to "Security" under "Settings" and check "Unknown sources". Select "Ok" as confirmation. So you can install WhatsApp manually.
- Download the WhatsApp APK file. Start the app and activate the device by confirming the terms and conditions and specifying your mobile phone number of the inserted SIM card.
- You will then receive an SMS for confirmation. You can now use WhatsApp and remove your SIM card because WhatsApp runs over WiFi.
