Using WhatsApp on multiple devices at the same time - is that possible?
You can only use WhatsApp with restrictions on several devices. We'll show you how it works and where the problem lies.
Use WhatsApp on two devices?
- As soon as you register with WhatsApp with your mobile phone number on a second smartphone, access to the first smartphone is blocked.
- It is therefore possible to use WhatsApp on two devices, but not simultaneously. You have to verify yourself every time you switch.
- However, you should not switch too often. According to WhatsApp, frequent changes can result in your account being blocked.
Use WhatsApp simultaneously on two smartphones
- Unfortunately there is currently no way to use WhatsApp on two devices without any problems.
- Alternatively, you can get a new SIM card from Aldi Talk or Edeka Mobil for just 10 euros. So you get a second number for your second smartphone quickly and cheaply.
- If you don't want your friends to have saved you twice, simply load your second mobile number from the first mobile phone into the desired groups or personal messages.
- So your second cell phone always reads and can take part in the conversation if you cannot or do not want to use your first cell phone.
In the next practical tip we will show you how to delete WhatsApp messages afterwards.
