WhatsApp: Set high priority notifications - how it works
With WhatsApp, you can receive high-priority notifications from selected contacts. This practical tip shows you exactly what that is and how to activate the new function.
WhatsApp high priority notifications - what is it?
- If you receive messages from many people more frequently or if you are active in many group chats, the overview is quickly lost. To solve this problem, you have been able to pin chats in WhatsApp for a long time.
- If you don't want to go online on WhatsApp, you can also read the messages in the Notification Center. Here all messages are arranged in time. With the new WhatsApp function, you can sort the messages by priority.
- To do this, you simply have to assign the high priority to one or more contacts. The messages from these people are then always displayed at the top of your Notification Center.
- The function is currently only available in WhatsApp beta version 2.18.117 on Android. As a WhatsApp beta tester, you can already use the function, all normal users have to wait a few more weeks, iOS users probably a little longer than Android users.
