WhatsApp for Bada - is there?
WhatsApp is available for Android, Windows Phone, iOS - even Messenger has been running in the browser for some time. Unfortunately, users of Bada OS, Samsung's own operating system, do not enjoy WhatsApp. In this practical tip, we clarify why and how much of some promises can be kept on the Internet.
WhatsApp for Samsung smartphones with Bada - no bright prospects
Bada was developed in 2010 and was discontinued in February 2013 with version 2.0.
- Since Bada is no longer being developed and the number of users is hardly noticeable compared to other operating systems, the developers of WhatsApp see no reason to publish the messenger for the operating system.
- Samsung also apparently makes no effort to integrate WhatsApp into Bada. The manufacturer prefers to use its own ChatON service.
There is no WhatsApp for Bada OS
Even if other claims are sometimes made on the Internet: WhatsApp is not supported by Bada.
- Instructions and solutions that you can find on various websites always link to a promising program.
- Of course, this doesn't work and is mostly infected to spy on your passwords or cause other damage.
- Avoid such instructions - even if you look very realistic on YouTube. Mostly rooted smartphones are used here that use Android and no longer Bada.
Use WhatsApp instead as a web app - Here's how
If you absolutely want to use WhatsApp mobile, you have no choice but to change the operating system. Until then, you can also use WhatsApp as a web app in the browser on your computer.
