Not enough space available in WhatsApp - that can help
- Restart: Switch your smartphone completely off and on again. Small errors in the buffer are deleted. It also frees up a little space.
- Storage: Open the "Settings" app and select the "Storage" category. Here you can see which data is using a lot of memory.
- Delete: To free up memory, you can, for example, disconnect from some unused apps. Deleting unnecessary images not only ensures order, but also frees up additional memory.

- SD card: If you don't want to disconnect from any content on your smartphone, you can move it to your SD card. We show you how this works in this practical tip.
- App data: An error in the cache can also cause the problem. Select the category "Apps" in the "Settings" and search there for the "Google Play Store" and the application "WhatsApp". Tap here on the buttons "Clear cache" and "Clear data". Chats or pictures are not deleted.
- WhatsApp: If none of this helps, you still have to reinstall WhatsApp. Before doing so, think of a WhatsApp backup. You can then install the latest version of WhatsApp.
