WhatsApp: cut films - how it works
In this guide, we show how to cut films in the iOS and Android version of WhatsApp. This function helps you to quickly send suitable contacts to your contacts via WhatsApp.
On iOS: record and cut films with WhatsApp
Open WhatsApp on your iPhone and tap on a chat log.
- Then tap the arrow icon at the bottom left and select "Take a photo or video" or "Select video".
- After you have rotated your video or your already rotated video is displayed, you can move the two sliders (the left and right arrows) at the top of the film bar and send your video cut to your contact.
- As soon as you have decided on a selection of the film, confirm with "Send".
On Android: record and cut films via WhatsApp
Open WhatsApp on your Android smartphone and tap on a chat log.
- Now tap on the bracket icon in the top right corner and select "Video". If you want to cut and send a video that has already been shot, select "Gallery" at this point and "Video" there.
- After rotating or selecting the video, you can move the two sliders in the film bar to send a section of the video.
- Once you've made the right selection, tap "Submit"
