Although the tax ID should have been stated on the application for child benefit for a long time, there is currently great uncertainty in this regard.

• As a matter of fact, from 2016 onwards, you will have to state your tax ID on the application for child benefit and that of your newborn child on the child facility in order to receive child benefit.
