Voice message on WhatsApp: Play not over loudspeakers
- There is this one kind of people who keep sending us voice messages on WhatsApp. We then very excitedly press the play button to listen to the message. Just stupid that the people around us can hear the news.
- But there is a trick for which you do not need headphones: you just have to hold the phone to your ear and do it in a very specific way.
Listen to voice message: Mobile phone to your ear - problem solved
The smartphone speakers are located on the bottom of the device. Usually all media are played there - music and also voice messages. But you can also use the normal loudspeaker for making calls. It is located next to the camera on the top of the smartphone. In practice it is very easy:
- If you have received a voice message, press the play button as always.
- Now hold the cell phone to your ear so that your fellow human beings can hear the voice message. In the exact same way that you make calls.
- Now the cell phone automatically switches to the speaker on the ear. The faster you have the cell phone on your ear, the less the other people will notice the voice message - usually less than half a second.
- Tip: It is best to try it out with an old voice message. Then you know how it works with a new message.
