How does Antolin work? Easily explained

Antolin is a website where your children can test their knowledge. We explain in our article exactly how this works.

This is how Antolin works

On Antolin, your children can test their knowledge of the books they have read and collect points. The principle is simple:

At the beginning, the children receive their access data with which they can register with Antolin and start a quiz.
Ideally, your child shouldn't have the book open when answering the questions. Otherwise there is no learning effect.
Antolin queries some key scenes from the selected book title in the quiz.
Your children then select one of the given answer options and then see directly whether it was right or wrong.
Correctly answered questions replenish the account and you or your child's teachers can reward them.

Antolin works with different types of quizzes in order to cover the widest possible range of books.

A quiz with a blue cap has 10 or 15 questions about the content of the book.
If the quiz has a red cap, there are a total of 11 or 16 questions that should make you think. These guessing games also help to form an opinion on a certain content.
Quizzes with a green hat are particularly suitable for beginners or children with poor reading ability. You only have 10 questions, all of which are relatively easy to answer.
There are also language quizzes, reference quizzes and textbook quizzes.
Your children can have every German quiz read to them. You can either turn this feature on or off, but it's really good for beginners.

The following generally applies to points: the more complex the book is, the higher the number of points that can be earned.
For classes 1-6 there are always as many points per question as the class level. In 1st class there is 1 point for each question, in 2nd class 2 points and so on.
Your children will receive 9 points for each question for books from grade 9 onwards. With a quiz with 15 questions you can earn 135 points.
To get rid of arbitrary answers, there are also minus points at Antolin. However, these can also be switched off by the teacher.
