Citavi Instructions: How to use the program correctly
Citavi consists of three main parts: literature management, knowledge organization and task planning:
- In the literature management you can enter and sort authors, editors and book titles.
- Click on "ISBN, DOL, PMD" to enter the existing ISBN number. Citavi then downloads all other information about the relevant literature.
- You can search for more titles under "Research". First, however, you must add a new catalog by clicking on "Database / Catalog".
- So that you are always organized, all tasks of your work can be planned and organized under "Planning".
- To add a new task, click on "Project Task". You can also assign books or literature to tasks.
- In addition, you can open a new Word text document in Citavi and link your bibliography with it. To do this, simply click on "Task Area" and select the project that you want to link to Word.
