How does DLAN work? Easily explained
When establishing a network, DLAN can bridge connections and thus save cables. You can find out exactly how this technology works in this practical tip.
DLAN - that is behind the technology
DLAN can be used effectively in many networks, for example to save cables. We explain how the technology works.
- With direct LAN, DLAN for short, the Internet signal is transmitted at home via your regular power line.
- You need at least two DLAN adapters so that you can set up a network.
- At the first, connect a LAN cable that leads to the router.
- The other adapter is connected to the PC using a LAN cable. Plug both adapters into a socket.
- However, you should note that you should not use multiple sockets, as the performance can be significantly reduced here.
- When used correctly, however, there are no major fluctuations in Internet speed.
- You can connect two or three LAN cables per adapter.
- Of course, you can use more than two adapters to build your network.
- You can get an adapter set for DLAN from around 40 euros - for example on Amazon.
