How does Sky Select work? Easily explained
Sky Select has been around for a long time, but even many Sky customers don't really know how the service actually works. We'll show you what Sky Select can do and whether it's worth it.
Sky Select: Brand new films and series
- With Sky Select you can watch current films for a small fee. The films usually appear 4 months after the theatrical release, but at the latest with the DVD release.
- As a rule, a film costs between 4 and 5 euros. Unlike video-on-demand services like Sky Snap, you don't have access to thousands of movies and series. You will only be presented with current film highlights that were previously only shown in the cinema.
- The order runs either online, by phone, by SMS or via your Sky + Receiver. If you have booked a film, it will be activated on your television on the "Sky Select" channel at the time mentioned.
Sky Select can do more: Bundesliga, Champion League and Formula 1
- In addition to current films, Sky Select also broadcasts numerous games from the Bundesliga and Champions League as well as Formula 1 races.
- To use Sky Select, you need an active Sky subscription with at least one Sky package.
