How does Sofortüberweisung work? - online banking
Sofortüberweisung is a good alternative to other payment service providers like PayPal. You do not have to create a user account here, just register with your online banking access data.
- If you have selected Sofortüberweisung as the payment method, you will be forwarded to a transfer form that has already been completed.
- Check the payee and transfer amount and select your bank using the bank code.
- In the next step, enter your usual access data for online banking in a secure payment form. From there, the data will be forwarded to your bank.
- You will receive a one-time valid TAN from your bank as usual, for example via smartphone.
- Confirm the transfer by TAN, you will receive a summary of all the data of the purchase process or directly a purchase confirmation from the shop.
- The basic idea of this e-payment system is therefore that you pass on your usual access data for online banking to Sofortüberweisung and from there the transfer will be initiated on your behalf. In return, the online retailer receives confirmation that the payment has been made. So you can quickly get to your ordered goods.
Sofortüberweisung: Is the payment method really safe?
Sofortüberweisung is currently one of the safest payment methods. Perhaps the biggest advantage is that you don't have to pass your account details on to every online shop when paying. Sofort GmbH does not store any information about you or your account details.
- The company "Sofort GmbH" carries the TÜV seal "Certified Data Protection". So you can be sure that your data will not be passed on to third parties and will be deleted directly after the payment process.
- In addition, Sofortüberweisung was certified with the "Verified Payment System" certificate Awarded by TÜV Saarland.
