- Most viewers only know Robert Geiss from the TV series "Die Geissens". What the multiple millionaire really earns his money with is rarely discussed.
- His current assets are estimated at around 22 million euros. The actual assets can differ by several million.
- Lately there have been rumors of a possible bankruptcy of the Geissens. Even if the rumor persists, there is no evidence. The Geiss family regularly denies this.
Wealth of the goats: where does the money come from?
- In 1986 Robert Geiss and his brother Michael founded the fashion brand "Uncle Sam" and sold it in 1995. The approximately 140 million Deutschmarks were shared equally between the brothers.
- Robert Geiss currently earns his money mainly by buying, renovating and then selling luxury properties. How well the business is really going there is unclear.
- The documentary soap "Die Geissens" has been running on RTL 2 with more than 100 episodes since 2011. The fee per shipment is estimated at around 50, 000 euros. So the Geissens have certainly earned one or two million from their TV appearances.
- Carmen Geiss is said to have received around 135, 000 euros for the show "Let's Dance" alone. In addition, the Geissens have written a book about their success and have been marketing their own fashion under the name "Roberto Geissini" since 2013.
- One or the other advertising contract kept washing the Geissens' money into their pockets. Robert and Carmen Geiss have already appeared in TV spots for Müllermilch, Sonnenklar.TV and the comparison portal Verivox.
- The Geiss family has also owned their own hotel since May 2015. The "Maison Prestige Roberto Geissini" hotel is located on the Côte d'Azur, near Saint Tropez. An overnight stay here costs between 150 and 800 euros.
Geissens' assets
- The Geissens own a 38 meter long luxury yacht as well as a 12 meter long speed boat. According to rumors, the yacht should not belong to the Geissens themselves.
- In addition to the hotel in Grimaud, the Geissens currently also own a chalet in the French Alps and a villa in St. Tropez. In addition, a penthouse in Monaco is rented for around EUR 18, 000 a month.
- The Geissens fleet alone is worth several hundred thousand euros. Among other things, a Minicooper S, a Maserati Gran, an Audi Q7, an Audi R8, a Range Rover, a Rolls Royce, a Bentley and a Porsche Turbo are in the Geissens' garage.
