How do I update Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 to 2014?

Download the installation file of Kaspersky Internet Security 2014
First you need the installation file of the new version of Kaspersky:
- Kaspersky Internet Security 2014: Download
- Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2014: Download
Close the 2013 version of Kaspersky
The next step is to exit the already installed version of Kaspersky Internet Security 2013.
- To do this, right-click on the Kaspersky symbol at the bottom right of the toolbar on your screen (red K).
- Then select "Exit" (see screenshot). Please also close all other open programs.
Uninstall the existing version of Kaspersky
Now the old Kaspersky variant is removed from your computer. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click on Start ->
- -> All programs ->
- -> Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 (or Antivirus 2013) ->
- -> "Remove Kaspersky Internet Security (or Antivirus 2013)"
- When uninstalling, please note that the "License information" checkbox under "Saving objects" (see image)! The "program settings" can also be optionally adopted here.
Install the new 2014 version of Kaspersky
After restarting the operating system, install the new 2014 version that you downloaded in the first step.
- You will find this in the folder that your browser has set as the default download folder.
- If not changed, this is the "Downloads" folder.
- Run the EXE file and follow the instructions to install it.
- The license key of your old Kaspersky Suite should be adopted automatically.
- If you receive the message shown in the picture, select "No, install and activate with the activation code".
