On many models, the number of Hertz can be found on the back of the monitor on a small sticker. You will also find what you are looking for on the box or in the operating instructions. However, Windows also knows very well about your monitor.
- Open the Control Panel and select the category "Appearance and Personalization".
- Under the item "Display" you will find the washed-out area "Screen resolution".
- Select the "advanced settings" here and switch to the "Monitor" tab above.
- Under "Screen Refresh Rate" you will find the maximum value that your monitor can achieve.
