How many Hz does my mouse have? Here's how to find out
Computer mice are measured not only by the DPI value, but also by the Hz number. We show you how much Hertz (Hz) your mouse has.
Hertz number of the mouse: How to find out the speed
- A standard mouse works with at least 125 Hz. The movement of the mouse can be displayed smoothly on the screen. Gaming mice mostly use 1, 000 Hertz.
- At a value of 1 Hz, one signal is sent to the PC every second. Even if the difference between 500 and 1, 000 Hertz is not directly visible, a high Hertz value is particularly appreciated when gaming.
- If you have a fairly normal and inexpensive mouse, the Hertz number is difficult to find out. With a little luck you will find the value on the bottom of the mouse or in the product description on Amazon.
- If you still have the mouse manual, you will find it here in most cases. If you use a gaming mouse, you can often view and adjust the value using the supplied software.
