In our practical tip, we explain what the Wii Nintendo Network Premium program is exactly.
What is the Nintendo Network Premium?
As the owner of the Wii U Premium Pack, you automatically participate in the Nintendo Network Premium program. Basic Wii U owners cannot participate.
- The Wii U Premium Pack contains a black Wii U with 32GB, while the Basic Pack contains a white console with 8GB storage.
- The Nintendo Network Premium is a rewards program that is available to you once you have created a Nintendo Network account. We have already explained how this works elsewhere.
- The Nintendo Network Premium program gives you points for every purchase in Nintendo eShop. There are 8 points for every euro of the price.
- If you have collected 500 points, you can finally exchange them for an eShop code, which then corresponds to 5 euros. This is how you can buy new software. To do this, you need to log in to the relevant page with your Nintendo Network account.
- The code is valid for both Wii U and 3DS family devices.
- The Nintendo Network Premium program ends on December 31, 2014. After that, you will no longer be able to collect points. However, you still have until March 31, 2015 to redeem your points. The codes will expire on June 30, 2015.
