Suede shoes are delicate, but cleaning is still quite easy. You don't even need special agents. There are some home remedies that are great for cleaning suede.

- Baking soda: If you want to remove grease stains from suede shoes, you can do this with baking soda. Sprinkle the home remedy on the stain and wait for the baking soda to soak up the fat. Then gently brush it off.
- Dry shampoo: Dry shampoo is also a proven home remedy for grease stains on suede. Be sure to use dry shampoo for blonde hair with light suede and a product for dark hair with dark suede.
- Baby powder : Baby powder also works well against grease stains and is used in the same way as baking soda or dry shampoo.
- Bread rind: The inside of a dried bread rind also makes grease stains on suede disappear. To do this, rub the leather with the bark.
- Eraser: Use a normal eraser to remove stains from suede. It is important to treat only the soiled area with it and not to press too hard.
- Sandpaper: You can also clean dirty spots on suede with sandpaper. The following also applies here: Work very gently and carefully so as not to damage the leather.
- Vinegar: Vinegar is a true all-rounder and is also suitable for cleaning suede. Rub the stain with a lint-free cloth dipped in vinegar and then rub with another wet cloth. After drying, brush off the area.
- Detergent: This home remedy is particularly suitable for removing larger stains. Put a little washing-up liquid in lukewarm water. Put the solution in a spray bottle, spray the stain with it and rub the suede clean with a soft cloth.
