Windows 10: Sign in with an image code
Conventional passwords are out - if you set up an image code in Windows 10, the selected photo will appear when you start your computer. On this picture, trace the gestures you selected previously with your fingers to log on. You set up this security feature in your account settings:
- Click your profile picture in the Windows Start menu and select the "Change Account Settings" option.
- In the new window, switch to the "Registration options" tab.
- Then choose the "Add" button in the "Image code" section and enter your current password.
- Use the "Select picture" button to find a photo on your hard drive that you want to use to log in later.
- Then draw three gestures in the picture with your finger. These can be straight lines, circles or other shapes. You use these individual characters to log on to your system later.
- Finally click on "Finish" to save the new picture password.
