Windows 10: Restore the old start menu before the anniversary update
- The major anniversary update for Windows 10 is expected to appear at the end of July 2016. In addition to new functions and numerous improvements, the start menu is also visually adapted.
- In the already released developer version there is no way to restore the old start menu. It is currently unclear whether Microsoft will integrate such an option. However, it is considered likely that the old start menu will completely give way to the new menu.
- Alternatively, you can also use other optics for the Start menu under Windows 10. The "Start10" and "Classic Shell" software integrate a Start menu with the look of Windows 7, "Start Menu 10" extends it by a few additional functions.
