Windows 10: start apps in full screen - how it works
In Windows 10, apps start automatically in windowed mode. If you want to use them directly in full screen, you have to change the system mode. How this works is explained in this article.
Windows 10: Start the app on the full screen
Switch to tablet mode and your Windows apps will automatically start in full-screen mode. You can switch back to window mode using the buttons in the window bar. You can activate the new mode in different ways:
- Info center: Open the notification center with the key combination [Windows] + [A] and click on the button "Tablet mode".
- Settings: Start the settings with the key combination [Windows] + [I] and click on "System". In the "Tablet mode" tab, set the switch to "On". Here you can also activate the mode directly at the start.
We'll tell you how to use the Start menu in full-screen mode in the next article.
