Windows 10: Rename desktops
In Windows 10, you can create multiple desktops for the first time. We answer the question of whether you can also rename the desktops.
Rename desktops in Windows 10
With Windows 10 it is possible for the first time in a Windows version to create several virtual desktops. Similar functions are already known from Mac OSX or Ubuntu. Unfortunately, there is apparently no way to rename these desktops.
- The task view button to the right of the start button takes you to an overview in which you can see all of your desktops.
- You can use the "New Desktop" button with the plus sign to create new desktops at any time, which are then numbered consecutively.
- Unfortunately, it has not been possible to rename these desktops manually. Very annoying, because if you work with several desktops, you can quickly lose the overview.
In another practical tip, we will inform you in detail about the functionality of the virtual desktops in Windows 10.
