Sometimes you can't open Microsoft Edge on Windows 10. In this practical tip, we will show you how to solve the problem and how to use Edge normally.
Reset Windows to repair Edge
If the Edge browser closes or crashes immediately upon startup, you should reset Windows 10. You keep all your files.
- Press the [Windows] + [i] keys simultaneously.
- Click here on "Update and Security".
- There, click on "Restore" on the left.
- At "Reset this PC" click on "Let's go".
- Select "Keep my files" and then follow the recovery process.
Edge app damaged - that too can help
Maybe the Edge app itself is damaged.
- Use the following Microsoft repair tool to fix this problem.
- Go to this Microsoft website and click on "Run troubleshooter".
- Then run the tool via "OK".
If none of the solutions above help you, you may need to reinstall Windows.
