Windows 10: Pin settings to the start menu - how it works
The start menu under Windows 10 can be perfectly adapted to your needs. Even individual settings can be pinned alongside apps and programs. How this works exactly is shown on this page.
Pin settings to the start menu under Windows 10
You can add normal apps and programs to the Start menu with a simple right click using the "Pin to Start" option. It works very similarly with the settings:
- Open the Settings app with the key combination [Windows] + [I].
- Then choose a category that you want to pin to the start menu.
- Then right-click on it and select "Pin to 'Start'".
- In the start menu you can then scale or move the settings like any normal app. Use the context menu and "Remove from 'Start'" to remove the settings tile.
- Tip: Of course, this procedure does not only work with the Settings category. You can also add individual settings such as WLAN, Bluetooth or microphone in this way.
