Windows 10: Do not dock windows - so disable it

In Windows 10, you can use single key combinations to dock individual windows to the edges of the screen. If you do not want to use the feature, you can deactivate it in the settings. We show you how to do this.

Do not dock windows in Windows 10

1. Press the key combination [Windows] + [X] and select "Control Panel" from the list.
2. There, click on the "Ease of Access Center" in the "Ease of Access" category.
3. Here you decide on the entry "Make keyboard operation easier".
4. Scroll down to the "Make windows easier to manage" section and check the box to turn off the docking feature.
5. Finally save your settings with "OK" and close the Control Panel.
