Windows 10: use the keyboard to dry windows - so it'll work
If you want to use several apps or programs side by side, you can dock the individual windows in Windows 10 with a key combination. We'll tell you exactly how this works in this article.
Using a keyboard shortcut: Dock windows in Windows 10
You can dock individual windows to the edge of the screen by dragging them to the sides of your monitor. Alternatively, use different key combinations:
- Use [Windows] + [Left Arrow] or [Windows] + [Right Arrow] to dock a single window on the left or right side of the monitor.
- If you want to enlarge the program again, use the key combination [Windows] + [arrow up]. Use the key combination [Windows] + [arrow down] to detach the window from the edges of the screen. Press the shortcut again to minimize the tool.
- In Windows 10, you can even dock four programs at the same time. To do this, first press the key combination [Windows] + [left arrow] or [Windows] + [right arrow] to fix the program on one screen. Use the shortcuts [Windows] + [arrow up] and [Windows] + [arrow down] to dock the window in the corresponding monitor corner.
