Windows 10: Install Java - you should know that
If you want to install and use Java on Windows 10, there are a few things you should consider and know. We'll show you how to bring Java and Windows 10 together.
Java on Windows 10: you should know that
- Windows 10 has been supported by Java since version 8 Update 51. However, Java cannot be used in the Microsoft Edge browser. For this you need Internet Explorer or Firefox.
- If you want to configure Java under Windows 10, open the Start menu and enter "Java" in the search. Then select the "Configure Java" option. As a rule, however, an adjustment is not necessary.
- To get the right version of Java, you need to know beforehand whether you have a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows installed.
Install Java on Windows 10 - how it works
- First, download Java (32-bit) or Java (64-bit).
- Start the file and confirm the following query with "Yes".
- The process starts with the "Install" button. This can take a few minutes.
- If you wish, you can then edit the update settings directly.
- Otherwise, simply click the "Close" button to end the process.
