• Windows 7 and 8.1 users receive the update to Windows 10 free of charge. In all likelihood, this can be easily installed via Windows Update.
• However, there is a catch: In order to receive the upgrade free of charge, you have to change within one year after the release. After that, the free change is no longer offered.
• If you switch later than a year after the release of Windows 10, you, as a user of Windows 7 and 8, are likely to pay a fairly low price. Windows Vista and XP users have to buy Windows 10 from scratch.
