Windows 10: Remove mouse trail - so it'll work
After installation, Windows 10 automatically activates the mouse track for some users. However, you can remove them later. We'll show you how to do this.
Disable mouse track in Windows 10
With the mouse trace, the movements of your pointer extend. This is to help you find the mouse more quickly and easily on large screens. If you don't need the feature, you can turn it off.
- To do this, open the settings with the key combination [Windows key] + [I].
- In the "Devices" category, click on the "Mouse and Touchpad" tab.
- Then select the entry "Show more mouse options".
- In the "Pointer Options" tab, remove the tick next to "Activate mouse track".
- Save your settings with "OK". After that, the mouse trail has disappeared.
