In Windows 10, you can connect a network drive and then use it like your own hard drive. We show you how to do this in the following practical tip.
Instructions: Connect network drive under Windows 10
No matter whether NAS, server or cloud storage, under Windows you can integrate many different storage systems as network drives. We'll show you how in our step-by-step instructions.
Step 1:
Press the [Windows] and [E] keys simultaneously so that the Explorer opens. Click on "This PC" on the left.
Step 2:
Click on the "Computer" tab at the top and select the "Map network drive" item.
Step 3:
Select the desired drive letter and enter the path of the memory. You can find the path more easily using the "Search" button.
Step 4:
The "Finish" button takes you to authorization. Enter the correct username and password for the storage here.
Step 5:
If you confirm the process, the network drive is integrated and is visible in the Explorer next to the hard drives.
