Windows 10: reset network - how it works
If you have problems with your network, you should always check the physical connection first. If you are certain that there is no hardware problem, you can still try the network troubleshooting. If you still cannot achieve the desired result, you can reset the network as the last option:
- To do this, press the Windows key and then click the gear icon.
- You have now called up the settings overview. Now select "Network and Internet". There you will find "Reset network" as the penultimate point (see screenshot).
- All problems due to incorrect configuration on the client side can be solved in this way. But be careful: All settings such as fixed IP addresses or other configurations are lost.
What you can do if you don't have access to network folders with Windows 10, read in the next post.
