- Press the key combination [Win] + [R] to open the Run dialog.
- Now enter the command "netplwiz" (without quotes). Then click on "OK". The "User Accounts" window opens.
- In the "Users" tab, remove the checkmark from "Users must enter user name and password". After you click on "OK", another window should open.
- Now enter the password of your user account in the corresponding fields. Confirm your entry with "OK".
Windows 10: System reactivation without login
To additionally switch off the password query when the system is reactivated (e.g. from power saving or standby mode), proceed as follows:
- Open the start menu and select the settings. Alternatively, press the key combination [Win] + [i].
- Select "Accounts" and "Sign-in Options" from the menu on the left.
- The selection at "When should Windows request a new registration after absence?" change to "Never".
