Windows 10: lock screen won't go away - you can do that
The lock screen is considered a nuisance among computer users, since it was rather intended or invented for tablets. We show four ways you can disable it.

If the lock screen no longer disappears, you can easily change this for the 17th and 18th versions in the appropriate policy.
Since several versions of Windows 10 are now in circulation, there are just as many ways to get rid of the lock screen, which is unnecessary from the perspective of PC users. The first thing to do is to find out which version is installed on your PC. To do this, go to Settings> System> About and then scroll down to read the version.
- For users of version 1607 there is a LockScreen Disabler program that patches the LogonController.dll file. With just a double click on the exe file and by pressing key 1 at the input prompt you can get rid of this problem.
- From version 1703 there is an extra setting for this in Windows. First use the Windows + R keys to open the command window and enter the name of the program gpedit.msc . A special editor opens where you click on Administrative Templates> Control Panel> Customization under the guidelines for the local computer on the left. Now open the settings window of the Do not show lock screen policy on the right and click on activated. The next time you boot up, the login window will appear instead of the lock screen.

- Only users of the 16th version have the benefit of simply renaming the folder " C: \ Windows \ SystemApps \ Microsoft.LockApp_cw5n1h2txyewy " to any name to free themselves from the lock screen. However, this does not always go smoothly. Windows complains about missing rights or that another process is currently accessing the folder. If this is the case for you, install Unlocker. Then browse under Unlocker to the folder mentioned above and exit the window with OK. In the next window, select the action for the folder, in our case rename it and enter the new name.
