If you want to write in another language under Windows 10, you can change the keyboard and layout. In this article we show you exactly how this works and how you can install exotic languages yourself.
Switch keyboard language quickly in Windows 10
The fastest way to change the keyboard language in Windows 10 is via the taskbar. Click on the "DEU" symbol next to the clock and select the desired language. If you don't have "DEU", change the layout using the settings:
- To do this, press the key combination [Windows] + [I].
- In the "Time and Language" category, switch to the "Region and Language" tab.
- In the "Language" section, click on the desired keyboard layout. If you cannot find the language you want, click on the plus symbol next to "Add language".
- Then select the desired language from the list. Here you will find almost every world language.
- Windows automatically downloads all the necessary data and activates the new keyboard language. You can then find the new language using the taskbar icon.
