Windows 10: Different background images for multiple monitors
If you have multiple monitors, you can use Windows 10 to insert different background images with a little trick. We show you how this works in this practical tip.
How to set multiple wallpapers in Windows 10
- Press the Windows key and X.
- Click on "Command Prompt".
- Enter the following line without quotes in the input field: "control / name Microsoft.Personalization / page pageWallpaper". We will explain in another practical tip how you can copy and paste this command into the command line.
- Press enter. Now the usual wallpaper selection for the desktop opens.
- Now right-click on the desired image and then assign the images. You can choose to set the image on all monitors or only on a specific one.
- Continue with all monitors and click on "Save changes".
