How to set up a VPN connection on Windows 10
To use a VPN connection, you first have to set it up and configure it in Windows 10. But this works easily via the settings:
- Open the search with [Windows] + [S] and search for "VPN".
- Click on the entry "Change virtual private networks (VPNs)" and then on "Add VPN connection".
- In the window that opens, enter all the relevant data for the VPN connection:
- First select the entry "Windows (integrated)" under "VPN provider".
- With "Connection name" you can assign any name for your future VPN connection.
- Now you have to enter the connection data of your provider or the network under "Server name or IP address".
- Finally - if necessary - enter your login details under "Username" and "Password".
- With a click on "Save" your VPN connection is set up.
