Windows 10: webcam doesn't work: you can do that

Windows 10: webcam not working - what to do?
- First make sure that the webcam is correctly connected to the PC and that the connection is properly seated.
- The USB port used may also be defective. So try another one.
- In order for the webcam to work, you need the appropriate driver. Go to the manufacturer's website and download the correct driver for Windows 10.
- Open the "Device Manager" by right-clicking on the start menu. If your webcam is displayed there under "Unknown devices", right-click on it and select "Update driver software".
- In the next step, select "Search for driver software on my computer" and then "Show compatible hardware"> "USB Video Device". Confirm with "Next".
- If these tips don't help, you can try uninstalling and then reinstalling the webcam.
