If you suddenly experience problems with Windows 10, you may need to reset the system in some cases. In such cases, creating a restore point is relatively easy. In this article, we will show you how to create a restore point and how to prepare for future errors.
Create restore point in Windows 10
- Click Windows Search on the taskbar and type "restore point".
- Then decide on the search result "Create recovery point".
- A new window is opening up. There, click on the "Create" button in the "Computer Protection" tab.
- If this is grayed out, first select a hard drive from the list and click on "Configure".
- Activate the "Activate computer protection" option and save your settings with "OK". Repeat these steps for all connected hard drives and partitions.
- You can then set up a restore point using the "Create" button.
