Windows 10: read WiFi password - how it works
If you forget your WiFi password or don't have it at hand, you can read it in Windows 10 in just a few steps. In this practical tip, we will show you how to do this.
Read WLAN password under Windows 10
- Right-click the WiFi icon in the lower right corner of your taskbar and select the "Open Network and Sharing Center" option.
- Here you can see your current WiFi connection. Click on the corresponding network name to the right of the "Connections:" item.
- In the window that opens, you must now select the "Wireless properties" item.
- Under the "Security" tab you will find the WiFi password for your connection.
- So that you can see the password in plain text, you only have to tick "Show characters".
