If you want to change the audio output device used under Windows 7, you have to select it manually in the sound settings of the operating system. Here we show you how it works.
Change audio output device in Windows 7
- Right-click on the speaker icon in the system tray. Then select "Playback devices". Alternatively, click on "Sound" in the Control Panel.
- All installed playback devices are now listed on the "Playback" page. Find the output device you want to switch to and right-click on it. Then select "Select as default device". You can also select the playback device and click on the "As default" button. Finally, close the window with the OK button.
