This code says that you do not have permission to install and occurs when installing Windows Installer packages:
- Therefore, try to run the installer as an administrator.
- To do this, right-click on the file and select "Run as administrator". You must confirm this process.
- When choosing the installation folder, make sure that you have the appropriate access rights.
- Usually, you should always install such packages on the local hard drive, i.e. where your Windows distribution is located.
- Installation on external hard drives or the like can lead to this error.
- In rare cases, the installation is also blocked by other programs.
- If you have a so-called tuning program, such as TuneUp Utilities, switch it off for the duration of the installation.
- It can also happen that the installation is blocked by the firewall or the antivirus. You should therefore also deactivate these at short notice.
