Windows 7: Spread the background over two screens

By default, Windows 7 displays your wallpaper separately on two screens. However, you can distribute the background. We show you how it works.
Spread the background
You don't need to do much to spread a background across two screens:
- Right-click an empty spot on your desktop.
- Select the "Customize" entry. A new window is opening up.
- Click on "Desktop Background" in the lower bar.
- Now find the picture you want on your computer and select your wallpaper.
- Then select the "Side by side" option under "Image position".
- Note: Make sure that your picture has the correct resolution. For example, "1920 x 1080 px" for large HD screens.
If your wallpaper is too boring for you, you can have the desktop background change automatically.
