Perform offline update for Windows 7 - how it works
- First download the update package for Windows 7. This can be done offline. Make sure you choose the right version for your system.
- Then unzip the zip file and then start the file "UpdateInstaller.exe".
- In the new window, just click "Start" and the program installs all important updates.
- Since some users complain about a user account that can no longer be deleted, we also recommend another download.
- With the Windows 7 SP 2 Updater you can install all updates since April 2015.
- However, please note that your system must also be up to April 2015 before installation.
- The easiest way is of course the online update of Windows itself. However, this takes a little longer and you have to restart your computer more often in between.
