If you want to keep an eye on the system information about your Windows 7 computer, you can display it in the taskbar. We'll show you how it's done.
Show hardware utilization in the Windows 7 taskbar
- Download the free Taskbar Meters tool. This only has to be started for use and does not require any installation.
- Open the ZIP file and unzip the folder contained on your desktop.
- In this folder you will find three EXE files. These are responsible for displaying the utilization of the CPU, the hard disk, and the working memory. Now start one or all three of the files.
- You can now set how often the display should be updated and at what capacity the color of the display should change. However, you do not have to set this.
