The easiest way to get around Microsoft's lock is to simply integrate OneDrive as a network drive in Explorer. Unfortunately, there is no loophole in Windows 10.
- Press the "Windows" and "E" keys simultaneously so that the Explorer opens.
- Select "This PC" in the navigation bar on the left and switch to the "Computer" tab at the top.
- Click here on the "Connect network drive" button. A small window then opens.
- Select a desired drive letter above and enter the path "//d.docs.live.net/ID" underneath.
- You must now replace the "ID" entry with your OneDrive ID. To do this, log in to OneDrive in the browser and open any folder. In the URL bar you will find your personal ID consisting of letters and numbers behind the entry "cid =".
- Switch back to setting up the network drive and replace the "ID" entry in the URL with your OneDrive ID. Then click on "Finish".
- Now enter your user name and password and check the option "Save login data".
- With a click on "OK" OneDrive is integrated as a drive in the Explorer and synchronizes for the first time.
